The Peace Day Youth Assembly is an annual gathering that brings together youth activists, NGOs, and innovative changemakers. This year, we invite you to embark on a hero's journey with us and become co-creators of a future that works for all.

24 hours of uNity

Join the
Peace Camp

As geopolitical tensions rise and world leaders prepare for conflict, the Peace Day Youth Assembly proposes a different approach to addressing the complex global challenges.

Our focus is on bridging inner development with outer impact. Starting from a place of inner peace, we aim to move beyond today’s dystopian paradigms towards a desirable future where the responsible use of technology enables people to thrive in harmony with nature.

In preparation for the UN’s Summit of the Future in New York, we invite youth, elders, change-makers, and creative frontrunners to join a group of AIESEC students and UN Youth delegates from the Nordic region.

Together we will explore our ancient history, discuss the present state of the world, and envision the future we want.

The epicenter of the initiative is Youth Island, a former sea fortress strategically located  at the confluence of the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, just a short sailing trip from Copenhagen's UN City.

Inspired by The Borderland —a network of people pursuing a creative and connected existence—we aim to transform the island into a space where participants can explore creativity, community activities, and various forms of self-expression.

You are invited to bring your own contributions—whether it’s a workshop, art piece, performance, or community experience. Reach out to us with your proposals!

Everyone is welcome to join the event —regardless of age, gender, race, or cultural background. Together, we can create a new reality through actions that open the heart.

Middelgrundsfortet (Youth Island) is an old naval fortress built in 1890 for the defense of Copenhagen City. During the Cold War, the fortress was armed with anti-aircraft missiles. Today, it serves as a unique platform where young people from all kinds of communities and youth cultures come together to create and share ideas and activities.
